A brief history of where and how the early Muslim's scientific knowledge
was obtained and why they lost it.

Near the beginning of the history of Islam, Muslims invaded the Byzantine and Persian empires. At that time the very little that was
then currently known as “Muslim Science” was greatly advanced because the Umayyad Caliph relied on Mawalis (educated
Christians and Jews who had much of the knowledge of science that was known to Egypt and the Zoroastrians, and much of what
was previously known by the Romans), to run their empire for them, as these people were forced to convert or die, the Mawali
astronomy got a big boost as India was far and away the most scientifically advanced in those areas in the world at that time. By
drawing on a variety of manuscripts - Greek, Roman, Indian, and Persian - Many of those texts were translated into Arabic and
taken everywhere that Muslims controlled. The manuscripts from the Library of Alexandria in Egypt were burned by Muslims with
a devastating loss of the world’s accumulated repository of knowledge as it had been since ancient times. Before the invention of
the printing press, any manuscript was priceless, and the Library of Alexandria was a genuine treasure house.

The fact is, that it should be called the Mawali Civilization or Mawali Science, since it was mostly from among the converts
'Islam' (mawali), that these sciences evolved.
The early Muslim scholars accumulated the greatest body of scientific knowledge in the world, after the loss of the Library of
Alexandria and built on it through their absorption of other peoples, who in order to survive, became Muslim. All of this has helped
Muslim philosophers, it would be wrong to call them scientists, combining the knowledge of the East with Greek philosophical
methods led to some great advances in math and astronomy, but they were let down, as the physical sciences degenerated into
the mumbo-jumbo of alchemy. Starting around 750 AD, science flourished under the Abbasid Caliphs of Baghdad, gradually
spreading its influence as far west as Spain and eastwards into Central Asia, over a period of around 600 years.
The Golden Age ended in about the 12th century when Islam descended into fundamentalism, helped along by the Turks and
Mongols. It did hang on in Spain for a bit longer, but the Almohad fundamentalists soon put a stop to that.
The history of Islam has gone through a number of phases. First being in the dark scientifically, then there was a great upheaval in
scientific vigor during the intermittent period followed by rapid decline to the level we see today.
Islam lost its scientific focus and has become a religion oriented towards obscurantism. (The opposition to the increase and
spread of knowledge, or deliberate obscurity or evasion of clarity.) But its contribution to modern science is definitely
unquestionable. While the European West was experiencing the Dark Ages, in the Muslim world, there was a period of the
spread of scientific ideas. There where rulers like Caliph Harun al-Rashid, who ruled from 786 to 809 who supported science.
The Arabs did take possession of many ancient texts which were translated from Greek and Roman and many other languages
into Arabic, then carried across their empire to Andalusia Spain, and then translated again into Latin. This was the source of
Europe’s exposure to Plato’s and Aristotle’s writings during the late Middle Ages and the Renaissance. Islam essentially provided
continuity to the evolution of scientific knowledge.
Even if someone who was a Muslim made scientific discoveries, it's not “Islam” that can take the credit. It's not “Muslim Science”.
It's just a Muslim doing science. It has nothing to do with a person’s religion. If this were true, then one would have to admit that
“Greek religion Science”, “Roman religion Science”, “Christian religion Science”, “Jewish religion Science”, “Hindu religion
Science”, ad nauseum... would also be just as valid and valuable. Islam takes credit for discoveries when in reality it was much of
the knowledge that was stolen or absorbed from the people they conquered or it was knowledge readily available in the countries
they overran. Muslims are the masters of lies, deceit and misinformation. (See the Muslim terms: “Kitman” or “Kithman”) They
have rewritten the history of the World, the Torah, and the Bible so as to fit Muslim teachings.
Not all Muslims were so magnanimous towards science and learning; the Arab army led by Amr ibn al ‘Aas sacked the city of
Alexandria in 640 or 642 after the Byzantine army was defeated at the Battle of Heliopolis. When the commander Amr ibn al-Aas
asked the Caliph Umar (also spelled ‘Omar’) on what to do with the library he gave the famous answer: “They will either contradict
the Koran, in which case they are heresy, or they will agree with it, in which case they are superfluous.” It is said that the Arabs
subsequently burned the books to heat bathwater for the soldiers. Burning and destruction of the Library of Alexandria was
reported to be the first act of sacking after Amr ibn al ‘Aas forces entered the city. It was also said that the Library’s collection was
still substantial enough at this late date to provide six months’ worth of fuel for the baths. There is some controversy as to all of
this being factual, but the fact remains that the Muslims under al ' Aas did the final burning and destruction of the library and
destroy all of the ancient manuscripts in the 640s.
Often, there was a practical Islamic relevance to science. Astronomy could be used to work out the proper direction for prayer.
Mathematics was needed for dividing property according to the Islamic Sharia law of inheritance.
Although science flourished under Arab-Islamic patronage, by no means all the important figures in science were Muslims, or
even Arabs.
The common factor, however, was the Arabic language, which for a time became the international language of science. It was
only later, in the 12th and 13th centuries, when the Arabic works began to be translated into Latin that such knowledge was
passed back again to the west. During most of the history of the world people generally did not travel beyond 20 or 30 miles from
home, and most people never left their place of birth, except for their involvement in military campaigns.
Muslims have exalted the Quran as promoting and being supported by science. Critical analysis reveals, however, that the Quran
is not a scientific marvel as it is self-styled by Muslims. For further insights concerning this, consider its highly controversial &
doubtful claim that human beings come from clots of blood -- (Surah 23:14). This is hardly a scientific depiction of embryonic
development.
What no eclipses? “It is not permitted to the Sun to catch up the Moon, nor can the Night outstrip the Day: Each (just) swims along
in (its own) orbit (according to Law).” -- Quran 36:40. Other critics note that the Quran speaks of Alexander the Great travelling
West until he reached the ‘setting place’ of the sun and found that it sets in a muddy spring (Surah 18:86).
Wherever anyone lives on the earth, whether they live near the Equator or the Polar Regions, or any place in between, they could
easily prove this as a false statement.
If someone is paying any attention at all, to where the sun actually sets each day during the year, they would have to know this is
undoubtedly wrong. If the sun did “set in a murky spring”, it would necessarily have to set in the same place at the end of each and
every day... or this “spring” is highly mobile!
They should quickly know that this is quite impossible! Yet Muslims believe everything written in the Koran! Even if it is entirely
possible for anyone with a pulse and halfway normal eye sight, to prove this statement as untrue!
Many highly primitive peoples all over the earth, in many different locations, have setup 'solar observatories' to determine the
changing of the seasons and when to plant their crops. Stonehenge is the most famous of these.
■ Stonehenge was built between 3100 – 1100 BC. ...Islam came into being in the 7th Century, over 1700 years later!
■ The circle was aligned with the midsummer sunrise, the midwinter sunset, and the most southerly rising and northerly setting of the moon.
■ The ground plan and structural engineering of Stonehenge incorporate sophisticated mathematical and geometrical understandings on
the part of its builders.
Another version of the same quote as above: “Until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it set in a spring of murky
water: Near it he found a People: We said: ‘O Zul-qarnain! (thou hast authority,) either to punish them, or to treat them with
kindness.’” -- Quran 18:86. This statement has puzzled Muslim commentators over the years who dig themselves in deeper by

An unbiased study of Quran shows that far from being a “miracle” the book is a hoax. Once the Quran is scrutinized with modern
science and rational thinking, many passages prove to be false. The Quran is replete with scientific heresies, historic blunders,
mathematical mistakes and logical absurdities. The Quran teaches that the earth is flat and the mountains are pegs driven into it
so that the earth remains at one place. Science has since proven the earth is round and not flat, the mountains came out of the
earth, not driven into it. Could it possibly be that the “Author of the Universe” is as ignorant as he appears to be in the Quran?
…Or just a lot of pre-7th century pseudo-science, or was it based on the ravings of a mad man, or both?
Muslim scientist says, “The world is flat and sun revolves earth because Koran says so”.

Notice on the videos, that when a Moslem makes a “scientific claim” they never come up with any testable proof or evidence such
as on the link where they say that “There is a place on the earth that the magnetic pull from he two poles cancel each other out,
and that a compass needle won't move.”
Oh really? So just WHERE IS THIS MAGICAL PLACE?
Or on another video, about “Moslems Discovered America” he said, “I have IRREFUTABLE PROOF that I can show you
…but I left it at home”.
Islam collected slaves and converts and the knowledge of the slaves and converts. Very little of “Muslim Science” actually came
from inside of Arabia, or was originally discovered by Arabs or Muslims.
Much of what Islam claims as “Science Invented by Muslims”, was from ancient writings or knowledge brought to them by their
Mawali captured slaves and conquered peoples, who were from many countries and far-flung regions of the world and then the
knowledge was adopted by the Muslims. However prior to the advancing Muslim occupying forces, much of the local and regional
knowledge that was taken from the people they conquered was not known anywhere else in the rest of the world, or it had been
lost elsewhere and forgotten. Then the knowledge was accumulated and disseminated by the Muslims and finally was spread to
the rest of the world.

The idea that bones are formed first and then ‘clothed’ by flesh is not only scientifically and completely wrong, but was directly
influenced by the (Circa 150 AD) Greek doctor Galen’s hypothesis.
The Koran is the journal of Mohammad, strangely written with the longest passages first, instead of in chronological order, it was
rewritten by Caliph Uthman and his team. This blatant embryonic error is 100% proof that the Koran is NOT from God, because
and All-Knowing God would not make a single mistake, nor would He rely on ancient writings from a Greek doctor.
Sura 23:12-13 (Pickthal) “Verily We created man from a product of wet earth; then placed him as a drop of seed in a safe
lodging.” Sura 23:14 “Then fashioned We the drop a clot, Then fashioned We the clot a little lump, Then fashioned We the little
lump Bones, then clothed the Bones with Flesh, and then produced it as another creation.” Sura 2:259 “…look at the bones, how
We adjust them and cover them with Flesh!”
At first glance, these claims seem very remarkable for a “7th Century desert Arab” to make.
However on second thought, one must ask two valid questions:
. First question, “Is this an original theory?” -- NO!
. Second question, “Is this hypothesis scientifically correct?” -- NO!
It says that Allah created man from a drop of sperm, which he placed in a safe place (assumed the uterus), then the drop was
created into something sticky (alaqa), then this sticky thing was made into a lump (like a chewed thing) Then this lump was
fashioned into bones, and then Allah clothed the bones with flesh.
Is this a scientific account of embryonic development?
The idea first came from the Greek doctor Aristotle who erroneously believed that, humans originated from the action of male
semen upon female menstrual blood, to produce congealed blood or clot.
It is now a known fact from modern biology that menstrual blood is caused from the shedding of the uterine lining (endometrium).
Semen is not involved in this process, nor will it coagulate blood to produce the congealed blood. The Koran’s assertion on Clot
(alaqa) is completely wrong about human (or even animal) embryonic development, since there is absolutely no stage during
which the embryo consists of a clot. The only situation where an embryo might appear as a clot is during a miscarriage!
The Koran describes four stages, which matches exactly with Galen’s description of development of the human embryo and has
been proven wrong by modern science. Galen was a Greek doctor who lived around 150 AD. He had wrongly theorized the
development of the human embryo, long before the Koran was written 480 years later.
The context of the verse 23:12-14 is about flesh and bone and not specifically about muscles and bones. In fact the heart muscle
of an embryo starts to function by week six after fertilization, before ossification of the first bone. There is no time when calcified
bones have been formed and then the muscles are formed around them. The muscles are in existence and formed several weeks
before there are calcified bones, rather than the muscles being grown around previously formed bones as the Koran erroneously
states.
The idea that the bones formed first and then ‘clothed’ with flesh is not only completely scientifically wrong, but it was directly
influenced by the ancient Greek doctor Galen’s hypothesis.

Muslim Science Today
-- Many have lost much ground.
Today many Arab Moslems and many Muslims living in other countries are once again living in the 7th Century; they have long
ago lost most of what scientific knowledge they historically had, and it seems as though many have not advanced one iota since.
If it were not for “Oil Wealth” most of Arabia would be flat broke. While a select few live in ultra royal splendor due to oil, many of
their Muslim neighbors are living in mud huts.
The Global Islamic population is currently approximately 1,200,000,000 (One Billion, Two Hundred Million), or about 20%
of the world’s population. They have received the following Nobel Prizes:

The Global Jewish population is approximately 14,000,000. Only (Fourteen Million), or about 0.02% of the world’s population.
They have received the following Nobel Prizes:
The Jews are NOT promoting brain washing children in military training camps, teaching them how to blow themselves up and
cause maximum injuries and deaths of non-Muslims and the collateral injuries and deaths of any Muslim by-standers!
The Jews don’t hijack planes, nor kill athletes at the Olympics, or blow themselves up in German restaurants. There is NOT one
single Jew that has destroyed a church or destroyed ancient religious icons and statues. There is NOT a single Jew that protests
by killing people. The Jews don’t traffic slaves, nor have leaders calling for Jihad and death to all the Infidels.
Perhaps the world’s Muslims should consider investing more in standard education and less in blaming the Jews for all their
problems. Muslims must ask ‘what can they do for humankind’ before they demand that humankind respects them!
Regardless of your feelings about the crisis between Israel and the "Palestinians" and Arab neighbors, even if you believe there is
more culpability on Israel’s part, the following two sentences really say it all:

Moslems and “Jewish Science”
Hitler made the error of avoiding “Jewish Science” and failed to develop the atom bomb, and win the war with the Allied Forces.
Had the war with Nazi Germany lasted a while longer, Germany would have also had a nuclear bomb exploded on their soil,
instead of just Japan.
Moslems have contributed very little to modern medicine - or modern anything, for that matter...
A short time ago, Moslem speeches at the U.N. urged the Moslem World to boycott everything that originates with the Jewish
people. In response, Meyer M. Treinkman, a pharmacist, out of the kindness of his heart, offers to assist them in their boycott as
follows:
“Any Moslem who has Syphilis must not be cured by Salvarsan discovered by a Jew, Dr. Ehrlich. He should not even try to find out
whether he has Syphilis, because the Wasserman Test is the discovery of a Jew. If any Moslem suspects that he has Gonorrhea,
he must not seek diagnosis, because he will be using the method of a Jew named Neissner.
A Moslem who has heart disease must not use Digitalis, a discovery by a Jew, Ludwig Traube. Should he suffer with a toothache,
he must not use Novocain, a discovery of the Jew, Alfred Einhorn. If a Moslem has Diabetes, he must not use Insulin, the result of
research by Minkowsky, a Jew. If a Moslem has a headache, he must shun Pyramidon and Antypyrin, due to the Jews, Spiro and
Ellege. Moslems with convulsions must put up with them because it was a Jew, Oscar Leibreich, who proposed the use of Chloral
Hydrate. Moslems must do likewise with their psychic ailments because Freud, father of psychoanalysis, was a Jew. Should a
Moslem child get Diphtheria, he must refrain from the “Schick” reaction which was invented by the Jew, Bella Schick.
Moslems should be ready to die in great numbers and must not permit treatment of ear and brain damage, work of Nobel Prize
winner, Robert Baram. They should continue to die or remain crippled by Infantile Paralysis because the discoverer of the anti-
polio vaccine is a Jew, Jonas Salk.
Moslems must refuse to use Streptomycin and continue to die of Tuberculosis because a Jew, Zalman Waxman, invented the
wonder drug against this killing disease. Moslem doctors must discard all discoveries and improvements by dermatologist Judas
Sehn Benedict, or the lung specialist, Frawnkel, and of many other world renowned Jewish scientists and medical experts.
In short, good and loyal Moslems properly and fittingly remain afflicted with Syphilis, Gonorrhea, Heart Disease, Headaches,
Typhus, Diabetes, Mental Disorders, Polio, Convulsions and Tuberculosis and be proud to obey the Islamic boycott.”
BTW Moslems must also avoid nuclear weapons, a product of Einstein’s “Jewish Science”.

Halal is the Moslem's Sharia Compliant method of producing and preparing food.
Halal meat is from animals who suffered a cruel death by having their heads PARTIALLY sawn off with a knife, the head remains
still attached to the body by the neck bone, the nervous system is still fully intact, they are still fully conscious, and very SLOWLY
dying a painful death until they bleed out.
THIS ANIMAL IS STILL ALIVE AND FULLY CONSCIOUS!
They kick, their eyes roll, bug-out and move about, and the animal tries to scream, but no sound comes out because their wind
pipe is severed.
Blood spurts from the severed jugular veins, the wind pipe flares out and spurts blood, then collapses in over and over again, as
the animals lungs heave for gasping breaths air.
Then the animal is hung head down from a hook through its leg, and is still kicking as it finally bleeds to death.
There may be ten or more sheep in the killing room all fully visible to each other as they are killed off, one by one.
Moslems let the cattle that are next in line to be killed, WATCH the animals that are ahead of them being killed.
Humane Handling and Slaughter of Livestock:
By using the much more humane “Captive Bolt” method, the animal is immediately rendered unconscious; this is the method used
in most other slaughter houses.
When you go in for major surgery, you are given an anesthesia and made totally unconscious; you feel absolutely no pain while the
surgeon cuts into you.
In humane slaughter houses the animal is never made aware of its fate, the animals are lead in one by one and hidden from the
animal in front of them that is being killed.

Prevention of Stress Related Meat Conditions -- Proper handling of animals before and during slaughter can greatly reduce their

Bolden to “Make nice with Islam”. Obama wanted him to find a way to reach out to the Muslim world
and engage much more with dominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic
contribution to science, math, and engineering. …Hmmm, what contributions?
The so-called “Arabic” numbering system that we use, originally came from India...
AND ...looks nothing like the actual system that Muslims actually use. To the right is the
numbering system we use in the West and the system used in Islamic nations.
Eight Muslims have won the Nobel Prize (five of those were for “peace” and included a “Peace Prize”
award for the mass murdering terrorist leader Yassar Arafat).
On the other hand, many Israeli Jews have won Nobel Prizes.
